Over two half-days, starting on Monday afternoon 3/07, the principle of Atom probe Tomography (APT) and its applicative potential will be introduced through a presentation and then two workshops. Two half-group workshops will be followed successively by all participants. During one of the workshops, the participants will be confronted with the instrument in operation and will be presented with all the technical details related to the operation of this characterisation tool while following an acquisition. In the other practical workshop, an introduction to Atom probe Tomography data processing will be given in a computer room. Computers will be made available to the participants.

Speakers: François Vurpillot and Ivan Blum (GPM)
